Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks is the latest player to commit his long-term future to the club by signing a new contract.
The 22-year-old, a product of the club’s academy, has penned a new five-year deal which keeps him at Spurs until 2023.
Winks has emerged as one of the north London club’s brightest young talents since making his first-team breakthrough last season.
He has been described as ‘the perfect midfielder’ by manager Mauricio Pochettino and was rewarded with his first senior England cap earlier this season in the Three Lions’ final World Cup qualifier against Lithuania – where he was named Man of the Match in a 1-0 victory.
Winks played alongside Spurs team-mates Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Kieran Trippier in his first England appearance
The home-gown starlet has made 39 Premier League appearances for Tottenham, although his game time this term was restricted due to an ankle injury.
Meanwhile, 20-year-old centre-half Cameron Carter-Vickers has also committed his future to Tottenham by agreeing a new contract until 2021.
