The midfielder signed four years ago but has not made a single first team appearance for the Blues
Chelsea have placed a £5.3million price tag on Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic.
The 23-year-old has been at Stamford Bridge since 2014, but he is yet to make an appearance for the club and has spent time on loan at Elche, Monaco, Milan and Spartak Moscow.
Chelsea are willing to let Pasalic go on loan again but, according to Calciomercato, they would also be open to a permanent transfer.
The Blues’ asking price is more than £2m more than they paid for the Croatian international four years ago.
So far, Fiorentina appears to be Pasalic’s most likely destination and the Viola have offered to take him on loan for the season.
Atalanta, however, are also interested in the Croatia international with the Lombardy based club willing to sign him permanently.
