Spurs have been interested in the 21-year-old Brazilian winger since January
Tottenham are in talks with Bordeaux about a deal for Brazilian forward Malcom.
Spurs tried to sign the winger during the January transfer window, but failed to get a deal over the line.
Inter emerged as serious contenders to land the 21-year-old’s signature, however, their interest seems to have cooled in the face of the £45million price tag the Ligue 1 side have placed on their star man.
The Italian club wanted to sign Malcom on loan initially, before making the move permanently next year.
However, Bordeaux are reluctant to sanction such a deal and now, according to France Football, they have opened talks with Tottenham.
Spurs officials reportedly met with representatives from the French club earlier this week to discuss a deal for Malcom.
Tottenham are still very interested in the forward, who scored 12 goals in Ligue 1 last season.
The Premier League club could also make Bordeaux a straight cash offer, which may give them the edge over the Italian giants.
