West Ham have already spent the best part of £50million on goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski , Andriy Yarmolenko , and defender Issa Diop, while Jack Wilshere has come in for free.

Lazio star Felipe Anderson is in talks with the club over a £40million move and they want to add Vazquez too.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini is a big fan of the Italy international, who has been in Spain for two seasons.

But, according to Estadio Deportivo, if West Ham want to sign Vazquez it will cost them £35million.

Sevilla are demanding the Hammers pay the 29-year-old’s current release clause in full, which is €40million (£35m), and they will not settle for less than that.
