The 21-year-old is heading out of Manchester City this month
Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts is in demand.
Roberts was a target for Huddersfield and has been linked with a return to Celtic after a successful two years on loan at Parkhead.
But a move to the Terriers did not materialise on deadline day and Celtic have yet to make a formal move to re-sign the 21-year-old.
The transfer window in England closed on Thursday, but Roberts can still move on loan or abroad.
And it is understood that he now has four clubs battling for his services.
Ligue 1 sides Bordeaux, Rennes and St Etienne have registered their interest in Roberts.
Girona, who are part owned by City Football Group, are also keen to take the Englishman.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers recently left the door open for Roberts to return to the club.
He spent two-and-a-half seasons with the Glasgow giants, winning back-to-back trebles, and was a fans’ favourite.
But it now looks likely he will move away from the UK before the end of the month, when the transfer windows closes abroad, with Roberts keen to test himself elsewhere.
