Wanyama was more of a squad player for Spurs in what was an injury-hit season
Borussia Dortmund have placed Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama on their summer wishlist.
The Kenyan endured an injury-affected season last term and managed just eight starts in the Premier League but he is still considered an important member of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
However, that has not stopped Dortmund from plotting a potential move for him, according to Sport Bild.
The Bundesliga club may lose both Julian Weigl and Nuri Sahin during the transfer window so will need reinforcements in central midfield.
And it has been suggested that they could make their move for Wanyama as soon as they have a space to fill.
